After its five-week sell-out run at Arts Theatre, All Or Nothing transfers to the Ambassadors Theatre for nine weeks from 28 March. It follows the end of the National Theatre’s limited run of Beginning at the theatre that for the last 15 years played home to Stomp.
All Or Nothing, affectionately known as the Mod musical, tells the story of the Small Faces, who along with The Who spearheaded the musical side of this subculture in the 1960s. It’s told from the perspective of front-man Steve Marriott, played here by Chris Simmons and is written, directed by and stars Carol Harrison. The band rose to prominence with hits such as Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Lazy Sunday and of course, All Or Nothing. The remaining band members are played by Stefan Edwards (playing Kenney Jones), Stanton Wright (playing Ronnie Lane) and Alexander Gold (playing Ian McLagan).
